Olivia Giscard d’Estaing is Strategic Advisor of Re-Imagine Europa (RIE), the first incubator for new political ideas for Europe co-founded together with President Valéry Giscard d’Estaing and Erika Widegren. The aim of RIE is to redefine how long-term policy and vision is developed through the use of new technologies to foster a dynamic public discourse, collective intelligence and realistic solutions for the benefit of a stronger, fairer and more competitive Europe.
Olivia has over 20 years experience in asset management from international banking groups HSBC and ABNAmro.
She was successively President of Eurofin Gestion from 1988 to 2003 and General Manager of Neuflize Private Assets from 2004 to 2013, before joining the Management Board of NeuflizeOBC Investissements.
In 2016, she joined the independent asset management company «Optigestion» as Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
During these years she was responsible for the investment strategy for clients and was active in the management of European and international investment funds. She was also involved in numerous debates and round tables, facilitated investment conferences and supervisory boards of employee savings funds.
She met with the management teams of many companies, mainly European, to analyze the strategy carried out in these companies.
Graduated with a master’s degree in management from Paris IX Dauphine University and with the diploma from CFAF (Financial Analyst’s Training School), Olivia completed her training with two programs, one at INSEAD (Negotiation Dynamics Program), the other at Booster Academy.
